Thumbs up to the hunter that kept his cool and now has awesome video of the experience. I would imagine that this hunter has been around black bears before and didn't make an irrational decision to shoot.
If you're scared, as I would have been when the bear started climbing the ladder, I would have made my presents known to the bear when he/she first put his/her paw on the first step.
Had the bear kept coming, a load of lead or broadhead would have been throw! However, this hunter handled himself like a pro and everyone is happy.
