Finebaum is a joke. He is the captain of that show. He gives idiots like legend, tammy, K Dub, and I man all time to spew their hate. He can change the direction of his show anytime he wants.

No doubt, his finest article in my opinion. I agree with Burbank, he could change his direction, but I dont know if he ever will! To me its $$$$$ over quality! Good article, thanks for sharing!

Why would he change a hugely successful radio show that has recently expanded into the National Market?
Its a great article, but folks would lose interest very quickly if it wasn't for all of the BS on his show.

The show works & is entertaining & therefore it keeps folks interested & coming back for more. Paul is a genius at leading callers & pressing the right buttons to get 'em stirred up because he knows it often leads to radio gold.
The left lane is for the the purpose of moving the flow of traffic forward regardless of the speed limit. If your impeding the flow of traffic get your ass in the right lane. It's really that simple...

Doekiller's right ... Paul's an entertainer with some info thrown in now and then.
He can make that show whatever he wants. But he knows the audience and who plays best: Tammy, Jim, controversy, childish taunting.
Very much like this Football Forum.
But it's a money-maker. Paul's not an idiot. He's probably made more money than any media type in the B'ham area or state in the last 10-15 years based on this show, his columns and TV. Now he's national and is writing for SI.com
This was a nice column, though. We all could do well to be more like Robert from Waterloo.

Finebaum's show is unique. It is caller driven and he has great guests on during football season. I listen to it everyday. I acutally find Tammy,Legend,I-man and the like very funny. It's a whole lot more entertaining than listening to Brando or Cowherd talk for 4 hours about what's on THEIR mind in sports. It's like a train wreck most days, I just can't turn it off.
