I was told the only advantage is they are more durable if shooting a whisker biscuit. I was also told they shouldn't shoot any different than regular vanes.
I found out they do shoot differently and am getting regular vanes put on my new arrows.
What's your experience?

i had regular vanes on my arrows last year, and my whisker biscuit kept tearing them up. i've switched to blazers now, and haven't had a problem. could have just been the arrows i got though.

I shot the 4" bohning vanes through my biscuit and changed to the blazers with ez crest wraps. I haven't noticed a difference between the two myself. Both are just as durable and fly exactly the same out of my setup.

I swaped to the 2" blazer account the same problems you where having.

Go with the blazers and you will never go back. They are a heck of a lot more durable than a 4" vane therefore giving you more consistency over the long haul of shooting them. They also make less noise and I gained 4 fps on my compund setup!

My arrows with blazers seem to spin tighter and group better. My arrows also seem to be a bit faster also.

Shot the Blazers and put the Duravanes back on. The Blazers are heavier and louder. Other than that theres not much dif. except price. I'm shooting the 3" duravanes now and will stay that way.

TD, I shoot the blazers and a whisker biscuit and love both. I have shot them for the last 3 years since I got my switchback xt and have not shot anything else so I really can't compare. They hold up good....and claim to be a better flight for fixed blade heads?? Don't know...I shot grim reapers and switched to rage heads this year. I like the blazers....my

I went from 4 inch vains last year to the blazers. Much less where and tear on the veins when your using a whisker biscuit. I am shooting Maxis 350 carbons with 100 Grain NAP Thunderhead fixed blade and get great stability with them. I haven't used mechanical broadheads with the blazers.
Other things being equal, it is the man who shoots with his heart in his bow that hits the mark.

I actually shoot both when practicing, blazers and 3in. duravanes. I can't tell any difference in my setup.
