Owls are carnivores, predators.
Turkeys are omnivores, in as much as they eat bugs and vegetation, not meat.
An owl really needs no specific habitat, other than an area with lots of rodents.
I have noticed, however, that crows are often an indication of turkeys. I have no particular evidence to support that claim, other than my own experience. But, where I see crows, I usually find turkeys nearby.
