We got the vent out about 230 this afternoon. Tongue is still moderately swollen, but she's breathing well on her own. For the next few days the goal is to get the swelling down more and make sure her breathing stays good, and to get her strength back. Still got a little ways to go but getting off the vent was a big step. Just pray she continues improving and no regressing.
