Ok cool that level of math and science is way beyond me for sure. So did he invent something or make some sort of scientific discovery?
To some degree he was on the same level as Albert Einstein. Worked with general relativity, black holes, etc. Has some stuff within cosmology named after him. Wrote a pretty popular book geared at bringing crazy complex ideas down to a general audience.
