The truth is that none of us know 100% for sure exactly what will happen when we die…. no matter how much we claim to. Just because you believe something really hard does not make it true. People have believed all kinds of things with strong conviction since the beginning of man. Many of them also persecuted anyone else who didn’t believe just the same….. There’s nothing special about us in this respect from others who have come before us. Our thinking is likely flawed as well in some way too….yet we still persecute others who don’t fall in line. Most humans believe whatever their parents and grandparents taught them as children.



A Christian can't know everything nor is he or she supposed to. That is why we have a thing called Faith. If you don't have it, you won't understand it, but if you do, then there is an innate knowledge that what you believe is true. There will never be empirical evidence that Christ was resurrected, but if you have accepted his sacrifice for you, then you know that he was resurrected and will return again one day.


Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.
