The universe as a whole in increasing in entropy with pockets that trend toward order (pockets are not a closed system). You are right as you mentioned earlier that 2nd law of thermodynamics is for a increase in disorder, not order from chaos as previously mentioned.

I’m certainly not saying I agree with Hawking. Too late at night to be thinking this deeply.

We are thinking on different levels of chaos and order.

CHAOS

Your wife's cat has extreme diarrhea and schits all over itself. Being the KIND husband, you decided to give the schit smeared cat a bath for your wife. It claws, bites. thrashes around throwing water everywhere. You get up to get away from the now wet, schit smeared cat and slip on the water and bust your head open. CHAOS

ORDER

From the previous chaos of washing the schit smeared cat, you then realize that the next time you should just shoot it first. ORDER

No real hypocritical judgment here. Just an absolute fact that if he didn't accept Jesus Chist as his Lord and Savior, then he is condemning himself to Hell.

As far as whether we go immediately to heaven or hell or “sleep” comes from a couple verses:
Thessalonians 4:13:
13 But I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him
those who sleep in Jesus.
15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words
1 Corinthians 15:51:
51 Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed— 52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. My wife is very convinced that we as Christians “sleep” until judgment day once we die. I’m not sure. I go back and forth. I don’t concern myself too much about that point of theology. Whether I “sleep” or go directly to heaven doesn’t matter to me so long as I get there eventually.

As Karl Childers said, it took me three years to read the Bible. I reckon I understand a great deal of it. Ummm hmmmm.

Damning someone because they do not agree with you sounds a lot like Old Testament. You know the, " Well that's Old Testament we don't really agree with everything that went on in the Old Testament", says the modern Christian.

No one said that Hawking would be in hell if he didn't agree with them. They said he would be in hell if he didn't accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, which is 100% the truth. That's stating fact, not judgmental.

Also, the verse saying "judge not lest ye be judged," is referring to being self righteous. We obviously judge people every day in a court of law, which is a Biblical principle.

It doesnt matter one iota if someone agrees with me or not. It matters whether they have chosen to repent of their sins and follow Christ. I would suggest you read the book of Romans (it's in the New Testament).

Hawking was a smart individual in some areas but obviously not all. For example he wasn't a genius in the medical field or else he could have found a cure for his disease. Not making fun of him just trying to show all those bowing down to his intelligence that he wasnt all knowing on everything. He was definitely wrong on Christianity and will be judged by the word he rejected.

This is where Christianity becomes a little too self-righteous……”I sure hope he decided to believe like me before he died!!”……….I think we’ll ALL be humbled when we die at how little any of us actually know. Is there no sense of humbleness that YOU are not the “all knowing” one either? Such certainty seems arrogant….especially when you use that certainty to demean others.

Here's the thing if you learn algebra you use a book. If you are Christian then you also use a book which tells you exactly what to do (what you MUST do) it's non negotiable. Just like algebra if the knowledge isn't learned the problem can't be solved and the result will be wrong. Why do so many that know so little about the Bible love to tout how it's wrong and yet can only quote " judge not". A physician shouldn't tell a lawyer how to practice law and a lawyer shouldn't tell a physician how to practice medical.Both have studied in their own fields. Neither should a non believer tell a Christian how they should believe .

This is talking about our physical bodies. Our bodies will be glorified and made perfect. My thought is your spirit goes directly to heaven. However, as far as going straight to hell, I do know that the fiery pit is not opened yet. Jesus has the key and will open it at the end.

But, I am with you. I don’t fully understand and don’t dwell on the details but that I understand what it takees to be accepted by God

The truth is that none of us know 100% for sure exactly what will happen when we die…. no matter how much we claim to. Just because you believe something really hard does not make it true. People have believed all kinds of things with strong conviction since the beginning of man. Many of them also persecuted anyone else who didn’t believe just the same….. There’s nothing special about us in this respect from others who have come before us. Our thinking is likely flawed as well in some way too….yet we still persecute others who don’t fall in line. Most humans believe whatever their parents and grandparents taught them as children.

While nobody may know the exact steps after death its pretty clear there only one way to heaven and only one other alternative..
