I dont understand why people with theories get famous until its proven its just a thought??now i do have a lot of respect for inventors...light bulb genius If we want to get technical, you cannot prove a theory. A theory can only be supported with evidence, or disproved.

damn at the hypocrites on this thread. One of the most brilliant minds to ever walk this earth has passed on and so many haters on the bandwagon. He was an example of "professing to be wise they became fools." He knew a lot of complex math, but had no common sense at all. He made some of the dumbest boneheaded pronouncements about the world and life and the universe imaginable. He openly considered those who believe in the Bible and the God the Bible to be fools. He openly taught that the "Universe created itself out of nothing." He constantly made claims and pronouncements that were totally unscientific and were nothing more then his atheist belief system and then called it "science."

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. I am assuming this would include the whitetail deer....
And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day.

damn at the hypocrites on this thread. One of the most brilliant minds to ever walk this earth has passed on and so many haters on the bandwagon. Yet he thought order arrived from chaos. Not very brilliant in my mind. Order, is almost always derived from Chaos.
If you’re a common sense person, you probably don’t feel you have a home in this world right now. If you’re a Christian, you know you were never meant to.

Hawking dies on 3/14 (Pi day) = Coincidence? I think not.
Did he die at 1:59 and 26 seconds?

As much as Hawking dismissed God, and likely did until his final breath had expired, I figure he's burning in hell now.
Serious question, IF he goes to hell, do you think he is there now, or is he resting until judgment day?

Someone dies and aldeer turns it into a judgment/religious post. I can’t judge him, MY Bible states that there is one (1) unforgivable sin (my interpretation and I’m sticking with it) and that is to deny Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
I know nothing about his relationship with Jesus Christ but I hope that he had one.

The way I understood things is upon death you get welcomed to the streets of gold or cast into the lake of fire. I don't know of any waiting room, transition period or possible hangout scenario. Perhaps one of our more learned Bible scholars can provide more insight. As for this becoming a "judgement" post, I really don't care. Hawking made it public that he dismissed any notion of God and outright scoffed. So I have no hesitation in believing he's burning in hell. Maybe not. Maybe he changed before taking his final breath. But if not then he's frying.

The thought occurred to me today that it is such a shame that assumingly he passed on his opportunity to be reborn with a perfect body after all the pain and suffering he went through with the old one. To me, it should have been an easy choice considering his situation. After all, what did he have to lose? One easy decision that could have been made by humbling himself and accepting Jesus would have given him a perfect body today in Glory.
Lord, please help us get our nation straightened out.

Perhaps one of our more learned Bible scholars can provide more insight. Basically, without going too far into it and not starting a dreaded "spin off" thread: I have never seen anything in the Bible that supports the idea of "Purgatory". It is a Catholic idea that stems from a misunderstanding of the redeeming and sanctifying work of Christ on the cross and verses that surround that.

Second law of thermodynamics is for a closed system. The sun makes the earth an open system. But the whole universe is one closed system. Other than including an all powerful being (which Hawking denied), nothing is inputting energy, and the second law applies.
