I've been sending prayers all along I just can't remember if I posted it or not, me saying that means nothing other than letting you know I'm thinking of Maddie. Maddie seems to still be making progress, hopefully that continues.
She was pretty restless this morning. About 530, I whispered to her that turkey season had started...she opened her eyes real big and looked at me. I asked if she wanted to go hunting and she nodded her head. Girl's got her priorities right.

Very touching. Continued prayers for Miss Maddie that she'll be all better soon and we'll be seeing a healthy little lady posing with a big ole Tom really soon. Hang in there Daddy, Gomer. Praying for you and your wife too!

We got the vent out about 230 this afternoon. Tongue is still moderately swollen, but she's breathing well on her own. For the next few days the goal is to get the swelling down more and make sure her breathing stays good, and to get her strength back. Still got a little ways to go but getting off the vent was a big step. Just pray she continues improving and no regressing.
