How do you know he didn’t accept Christ in his life? Because he didn’t get on the mountain top and scream it. Odds are he didn’t but I don’t know if he did or not and that’s between him and the big guy. He was a brilliant man. God rest his soul.

I think he was brilliant but the conversation he just had with St. Peter did not go the way he thought it would. He is probably muttering under his breath "How did I get it all so wrong?", and he walks into Hell.
