Update: ENT just left and they're confident it is what they suspected, based on the MRI and CT scans, and explained the way they want to treat it. EDIT they're hoping the procedure can be done by interventional radiology, where they'll run some deal up through a vein in her leg to drain the cysts in her tongue, because it would be much less invasive than straight up surgery. Still unsure when they can do it, probably tomorrow at soonest, depends on what specialists are available and when....it's not something that they're comfortable letting "just whoever" do. But all in all she's doing ok.

They have some dang good doctors at UAB, great news that they feel confident in their diagnosis. No telling where the specialist on a surgery like that will come from.
