The end of last summer I found a go kart frame online that I couldn't turn down ($25). Figured it would be a good project my son and I could do together and teach him some basics. I never had a go kart as a kid so it was a learning process for me too. More or less got it done in time to test out this past weekend. The brakes fell off within 5 minutes slap, but otherwise it did great. We kept the throttle as low as it would go and kept him in large open areas. There is a chance I took it for a joy ride myself.
