PRICELESS!!!!!My Mom wanted to start shooting a little. She's never shot a bow before and has showed some interest the past few weeks. So I located a cam for my son's old Mathews Mustang last week. I didn't have a spare release or rest so she picked them up in Montgomery yesterday evening on the way back from the Buckmasters Expo. I rigged the bow up this morning and got her out and started the shooting lessons. Took her a little while before I had her where she could anchor consistently. Once she did and started shooting some good groups from 10 yards I moved her back to 15 and got her top pin set. I then moved her back to set the 20 yard pin. Those were the first two shots.  I think it's close.   My daughter Haylee was impressed.

WOW Great shot. I've been shooting for over 20 years and never done that, not even at 10 yards.
Way to go.

Most likely not, at least for this year. She says she doesn't want to bowhunt. She just wants to try some 3D. She's definitely hooked on shooting. She's been coming down to my house twice a day since Sunday and practicing. She's up to about 100 arrows a day now. I know one thing, if she does decide to bowhunt, a deer at 20 yards ain't got a prayer. And, if she can judge yardage, she's gonna upset a lot of women in the BHA Women's Bowhunter Class.
