Are not going to sell AR's and/or high capacity magazines anymore PLUS they are arbitrarily not going to sell ANY guns to anyone under the age of 21.

Meh.....never really thought they had a very good selection or prices on hunting stuff or guns anyway...if they got out of huntimg and fishing all toget her I'd never notice.

I don't like their stores anyway. Over priced unless it's a sale going on. Much like gander mountain and look what happened to them

I haven't set foot in their stores since they pulled their "black guns" after one of the earlier shootings. Don't plan to ever again.

The Academy in Montgomery had several AR's on the rack last night. Not what I was referring to. After the last shooting they hid their Ars behind cabinets in safes etc and u had ask, it was like making a backdoor purchase in an alleyway...

Whatever, they’re a private company. It’s not like they’re repealing the 2nd amendment.
They do sell a lot of stuff for running. It’s all you see when you walk in the doors. I guess that’s their angle. “Why buy an assault rifle when you can just run from it!”

Damn, that letter is pretty bad. They can do what they want as a private company but some of the things they are advocating is way over the top. I have spent quite a bit of money in there on the kids sports stuff and even bought an AR in field and stream a while back. Looked at a kayak there a couple days ago for my son, can't really see me shopping there anymore.

I haven't been in one since 2012, when they pulled AR's off the shelf after Sandy Hook. They did this right after Christmas, when many (including me) were given gift cards as presents. They wouldn't refund the card, so I gave mine to a homeless person. Told him to try on every coat in the store before choosing one.

So, my understanding is that DSG was already on the Aldeer Boycott List....can they be double-Boycotted? Is that kinda like the Delta's from Animal House going on "Double Secret Probation"?

Admittedly I have a Field and Stream Ladder Stand that I love but for the most part I do not shop there or at Academy and never shop there for "hunting gear". I know others don't have many options and this would prove to be more difficult.
This is a repeated cycle with the guns.
They want to sell you hunting gear and make money off you but they have no intention of helping to protect your gun rights.
No government employees were harmed in the making of this mess.
