Figured this might get more traction than in the Food Forum so here goes:
Who makes the best chili dogs or speciality dogs in Alabama?
Memorable ones I've had were at Zesto and Mullins in Huntsville, Bunyan's in Florence and Chris' in Montgomery.
Seems like someone mentioned one at a joint in Opelika or Auburn. Don't know about any in Tuscaloosa or Birmingham.

Used to be a place in Hueytown call Gus’s hotdogs that had a great chile dog. I liked the Chile cheese slaw dog too but I’m not sure if that place is open anymore
