...when I start pulling out the turkey dvd's to get ready for the season. Guy kills a gobbler with 1 or 2 out there with him. As he's flopping dead the other gobblers stay out in the field until big bubba goes a running to get him and then the others fly off.
Or, when someone shoots and all the turkeys fly off then camera dude starts yelping and cackling with hopes of getting a "double."
Amazing how much unsolicited education hunters are willing to give to turkeys!

What wrong with trying to double? If the birds stay in the field after the shot it sounds like they ARE uneducated and are un pressured. Maybe if you pressured your turkeys less they wouldn't run away from you

Twice last season I called in and killed gobblers after one was already killed. It really helps if the bird that's already laying there will flop some.

I think you're giving them too much credit. They don't have the capability of deductive reasoning.

Do you want to hear him gobble, or do you want to kill him.

Everyone here will probably agree that is ridiculous.

Every turkey hunt I see on TV these days are nothing but fanning field birds.... Thats all Primos does any more and they've always been my favorite.
