My wife is actually a little PO'd that I'm not getting to hunt more this season. My lease costs the same whether I hunt or not. Tell her that pussy is costing you the same, too. I would but then finding new pussy at this point would cost a lot more.
Without your 2nd amendment rights you have no 1st amendment rights.

I use to be one of those guys that left to go hunting on Friday afternoon and didn't come on till Sunday night. That's the way it was every weekend. Then, after I got married I changed to every other weekend. Now that the kids have come along that was cut way back too. I'm not told when I can and can't go, but, as I heard it once put before, I like hunting but I love my family.

I'm not told when I can and can't go, but, as I heard it once put before, I like hunting but I love my family. Spot-on. And your family should love that you take a little time now and then to recharge, bring home some meat and pursue your interests.

Old story goes like this.Man and wife laying in a warm bed.Clock goes off at 4am.Man gets up to go hunting.He walks outside to a cold driving rain and gale force winds and decides to go back to bed.He crawls back into bed and snuggles up to his warm wife and says it is just nasty outside.Wife replies,Can you believe my dumb ass husband is out hunting in this weather.Just sayin.

The only time complained was when I was looking at scopes I was looking at some 300.00 dollar ones and she told me flat out you are not buying a cheap scope so we went over and bought a swarovski

I'd say be glad she still wants you around. like toothdoc said, if you dont give her what she needs someone else will. be careful which one of these goobers you take lady advice from. a bunch of them are multiple divorcees  invite her to go with you some, never know how much fun it might turn out being plus you know the old saying, the couple that plays together stays together.

Kids changed my huntinn time. Back 25 yrs ago when the oldest first born started wanting to hunt we went anytime we wanted an always have.since that time.
Prior to kids we would have problems.. it will get better if you do your part man to get us outta the house she would pack us up

I had a buddy that used to say the same thing about hunting season is only a few months long and went every free minute he could. Problem was he turkey hunted too but his excuse was the season wasn't that long. He also fished but only during the Spring, when he didn't go turkey hunting. He also had to scout for deer and put in his work days. Adding up the time, he was gone a lot more than he thought. One evening he left for the hunting club and, after getting an hour or so down the road, started feeling a little guilty about leaving his wife at home and decided to turn around. Eventhough he had used the excuse that she had him the rest of the year. Long story short. He pulls in the drive to find one of his best friend's truck sitting in the drive. You can guess what he found inside the house. There's no excuse for what she did but it does give you something to think about.
By the way. His grown son has followed in his footsteps and is big an outdoorsman as he ever was. His son's divorce is final in January. I guess he followed little too close in his dad's footsteps.

I don't complain, I go too! Just yesterday, Ty said that when we first got married, I never used to go with him. We had babies, so I stayed home. Our babies are old enough to hang out at home now if they don't want to hunt! We dog hunt, and you better believe that on Saturday and Sunday mornings, I am in the passenger seat! On those same afternoons, I am gonna be in a stand!
I have always said this: if Ty is hunting, I know where he is and who he is with!

My wife goes with me almost every time I got. I don't think I have deer hunted without her but twice this year.
