Need to plant a bug in the media's ear that the meeting will be controversial and there will be a story. They don't care about civil and calm, but they would be all over an angry crowd demanding justice and action.
The news media wouldn't show up. They don't know squat about what the DCNR is, does or what the CAB is or does, much less care about a hunter who died in a rural county even under mysterious circumstances.
The only time I can recall Montgomery news media showing up was for a committee meeting once and, I believe, Alvin Holmes was part of the committee. Dog-and-pony show.
