Abolt in standard calibers is OK for treestands and timber hunting. Shot one for years,smacked a bunch of grown uns with an Abolt in 30-06 and 7mm-08. No use for anything with Mag behind it for hunting in timber. Too long and heavy. Same goes for any scope that looks like a Hubbell Telescope. Sako Finnlite .308 W/ Leupold VX3 2.5-8 Heavy Duplex, now that's the ticket.
