Pocket Ranger - the app used for the GC - isn't new and is used by other states. We've had this now for two deer seasons, and I'm sure it was thoroughly tested before being unleashed in the Great Mandate here.
And yet two years later we still have glitches, problems, frustrated hunters and people who I'm sure are saying, "Phuck this. if they catch me without reporting, so what?"
I've hunted in other states with check systems and used them on my phone. They worked easily and without any problem. How these problems are still coming up here is mystifying.
Perhaps in the 2018-19 season there will be fewer glitches and problems.
