My wife went to a catholic private school for years. After 6 years of marriage....she is not a follower of christ. Im planning my exit. It blows my mind how some act as if they have no fear of god and talk like they are automatically entitled to his kingdom.

If you’ll start with a man who understands that he is to love his wife like Christ loved the church then you’re several steps ahead of most women with that man. Christ sacrificed for the church, to the point of death. There’s not many men who will sacrifice their desires and wants for a woman. You find one who will and he will love you like you deserve. And then she changes her mind, "gets bored", whatever you wanna call it because women hate nice guys and divorce is big money for women. I get your point but guys say empty chit like that when reality is not so idealistic. #truth^^^ ... BTW the divorce rate of church-going couples is just as high if not higher than the secular sector ...

From what I've seen it is much easier for a woman to respect her husband and submit to his headship in the home if he loves her unconditionally though. so let's establish that 1 Corinthians 13 "models" unconditional, Godly love -- i will contend that most women do not view "love" in this way but view "love" very emotionally - it comes & it goes & when it's gone, it's gone. most women also fail miserably on the "keeps no record of wrongs" part, too ... as a father of two teenage daughters, we read 1 Corinthians 13 together often & discuss it in detail ...
