I don't mind hunting and fishing license I don't even mind fuel tax and car tags, I think I get return on investment there.
I don't think I should have to rent my house from the county and the bank and I don't think I should have to feed the unwilling. I'm ok with paying the military, police and fire but I think 10% or so from everyone should cover that

Matt Brock brings up some great points. We need laws, enforcement and science but also it shouldn't be totalitarian possum police out harassing folks.

I shouldn't have to go by any season or laws on my own personal land I own and pay taxes on. Now public land however that's a different deal. But then there's the taxpayer claiming he paid for that land too. It's a revolving door I reckon on arguments.

You have to buy a license because people who enjoyed hunting and fishing many decades ago realized that there was no regulatory authority over the resources they dearly loved, and people were overexploiting the resource to levels that were not sustainable, and completely extirpated some species from certain places. Then the PEOPLE of this country, the sportsmen and women, pushed for legislation to regulate game and fish. State agencies were formed to regulate within their boundaries, which can not be done without funding. License sales fund game and fish restoration, regulation, conservation, education and enforcement. Without the sale of licenses you wouldn't have any fish to catch. Who took a river in Alabama and turned it into a friggin lake? The state is feeding off of Hydro. Natives were fishing on the Coosa long before any of us.

When they rob us weekly on taxes that we have no idea where it goes to. I aint seen where all my taxes go. Just the same junky roads i drive on. While they keep gettin richer and puttin more taxes on us and excuses while they take more and more. And crime rising. Now the government acts like a bunch of dumb kids bickering. Imagine if we built every single thing here in the US

Do you think there should be no game and fish laws? I think that I should be able to catch a few crappie off of a dock on the Coosa on Lay Lake. If you are the resident of the county, you can fish from the bank with out a license.

The PEOPLE absolutely demanded the government step in. The government wasn’t the answer. The PEOPLE who put their elected officials in Office was the answer. The USA has the greatest conservation story AND current framework of any country in the world.

Law is for residents of the county they reside in, on drivers license, to fish from the bank with hook and line only. This is a cane or fiberglass pole with no reel. Rod and reel is where the fishing license comes in Or if you fish from the bank of another county. I have no problem with it. Got to pay to play.

Same reason you pay for a pistol permit or pay a yearly tax on property you have already paid for and why every year you have to buy a tag for a vehicle that you have paid or are paying for that belongs to you...just to be able to drive on roads that you pay taxes to maintain....Every time i look at my check stub and see what they take before I even get my hands on it..If you really think about it it will piss you off....But what u gonna do lol...Ok getting off the soap box:)
