Frankly I just find it kinda embarrassing. That some piss poor illegal and dangerous advice can be given and accepted on a public message board.
If shooting a persistent nuisance dog on your own land is piss poor illegal and dangerous advice in your book then what do you call going onto someone else's land and violently assaulting or killing a human being over a dog?
You go on someone else's land with the intent to harm them, especially if you take a weapon, and you have handed that person a perfect legal right to shoot your ass. They won't spend a day in jail for defending themselves on their own land.
On the other hand, if you kill them on their land over a dog you will have no protection under the law. That is not a valid legal excuse for taking a human life. In fact ,at trial, "I was pissed about a dog" is what they call a "motive". And it helps the prosecution not the defense.
Worst case going gunning for someone on their own land is that you end up dead. Best case is you kill them instead and then get to spend at least 25 years in some sh#thole like Holman down at Atmore getting cornholed by bull queers and sh##ting blood every night. Neither of those outcomes sound very good to me if we are talking about good advice here.
