Well now i know why the dog hunting is being banned. And goodman outta be thrown in jail with the dog fighters. Gonna kill your dogs cause they wont hunt. Thats a special kind of low down

Your probably the exception to my post above. I bet if I kicked your dog, you'd apologize to me for him being in my way.

And if your dog is killing someone else's animal, I would say that changes the scenario completely. But advising someone to escalate a situation by the use of violence is stupid , that should only be the absolute last resort. But when YOU escalate it with violence, how is the next man wrong when he approaches you with the same mentality. Explain how that makes any sense.

After having read these threads the one line that I keep seeing over and over is "I try to do everything I can to keep my dogs off other people's property, the key word here is "TRY" They set out to engage in something that they KNOW that they ultimately have no complete control over from the very beginning. Then when it actually happens and the dog is running on someone else's property they think that the fact that they "TRIED" to keep him on their own property releases him of any kind of liability and that all non dog hunters are the ones who have to "get over it".....because "I TRIED ". I am a still hunter and I COMPLETELY control every aspect of WHERE I hunt and HOW I hunt. I wonder how dog hunters would feel if I happen to cross their property line and hunt on THEIR property, and my reason for doing so was well....."I TRIED "...........

Every human or beast that finds itself on my land breathes, farts, eats, chits, lives or dies at my pleasure. I tend to be magnanimous to visitors but make no mistake about it. They will not make it off property if they step too far out of line. I keep this in mind when I am on the property of others.

On the flip side to the trend.i keep seeing It's ok to break the law and do what I want because I feel like the other person is a pos. So it's ok for them to become a pos themselves. Kinda hypocritical ain't it?

So you can't understand the difference in me killing my dog and me killing your dog? Seems pretty simple.

Killing an innocent puppy is far much worse than shooting a loud mouth unwanted free range, ferrell dog on private property

Also I'd like to hear how you raise hunting dogs? You don't? Then maybe you shouldn't talk about things you know nothing about.

I don't regard a dogs life the same as a humans. The fella I quoted said "you don't let your kids run around and act a fool", so I was trying to put it in a context he, or you or whoever would understand.

Yeah, you aren't going to be able to blow that smoke up my ass about how much you love your hunting dog after you admit you shot the rest of the litter he came from in the head just because they didn't show quite as much promise as a hunting dog. I understand just fine. I also know rite from wrong and dont abuse animals. My aunts dog just got killed from bothering hunters too much. She was in the wrong. Not the hunters. She had a pet that roamed onto someone elses property so they killed it. I cant blame anyone but my aunt. They killed it cause it came walking by their stand. Which was maybe 1/4 mile from the dogs yard. The dog had no interest in deer and wasnt bothering deer. They owned the land and didnt want it loose so they shot it and left it laying and wouldnt tell us. Hey we shoulda not let it roam. It was a huge siberian husky. Her dogs dont roam anymore. No problems. And talking about me not knowing about dogs....are you a vet doctor???? They put people in prison killing dogs under your actions. Go kill all you want. Just dont advertise it to me then argue about morals to me

Pretty funny to me how y'all all up in arms if I said I dispatched my own damn dog, when not so long ago. You was talking about YOU killing my dog. Explain how that works again.

I will kill your dog if its on my property harrassing me or my things. I will not kill your dog if it is not bothering anything. I will come ask you to handle it. Depending on your attitude would depict future actions. None would include me killin it if its not aggressive. The pound would get it after 3 times no matter what. But if the dog aint hurting nothing at all then i dont care if he comes by. Did i make that understandable? Holy smokes. I need tobacco
