This may be beating a dead horse, but what is your favorite striker?

Pot calls are my favorite calls to use during the season. Over the years I've bought slate, glass, and aluminum. My fiberglass striker sounds good on the slate, but not as good on glass.

Any tips on a good striker that works on most surfaces?

Thanks and Roll Tide!

Snakewood is probably the most versatile all around for all surfaces. I don't think it's the best for any surface though. If you are wanting something for glass, get a Stuckey Maccassar Ebony

Thanks guys. Gonna look into each of them.

Got a buddy that makes custom calls, and he made me a sweet glass and slate call. Just can't get it to hit that perfect note yet. Thanks again.

One of the two dymondwood strikers I have is a DH with the bell tip. Runs excellent on most anything.

I like Halloran's one piece ipe, Lyman mac ebony, Lyman dymalux, and Fowler two piece snakewood stem with osage bell. Those 4 run well on any pot I have tried.
