I'm not super secretive, but I know better than to show off a great deer to people I don't know. People are quick to try to swoop in and take your well managed land if it's leased. Why would you send all of that to someone you don't know? 1) The deer came off private land that borders the Cherokee National Forest (thousands of acres). No way to keep folks off the public land. 2) The deer is dead. It can't be hunted now. 3) I saw the guy and talked to him every day for like 6 weeks. Seemed like a good guy. WTH harm is sending a few pics of a dead deer. I'm not that "land scared". Utilitydude, when we lived there, few folks hunted deer. I saw some really nice bucks in the forest in Houston Valley. There was 8-10 of snow and the deer were yarded up, bucks and does running together, post rut. Beautiful country.

Hell looking back I could have been John Travis or Timbre as far as anybody knew but I never posted it. Pictures were stolen among a bunch of other crazy stuff that I had nothing to do with. I definitely got a raw deal and I'm still a little pissed about how it all went down.
