I live in Thomasville. So, I am only 30 miles away.
And, I have a camper behind Abe's Mother-in-Law's house out in his pasture.
I am up there a lot.
Heck, my wife is up at Abe's with his wife, Helen today.

not napalm Perch, just cleaning up a LOT. It IS a place unto itself, but has a LOT of really good folks down there. I hunted there for many years with a diverse bunch of good folks. Great folks actually. Yep some good folks around the Bend also. Hell they're always dropping me off BBQ and booze

I used to know many of the Gees Bend natives. Most of them are dead now, but there was good people in the bend.

Man if you could set up off the road, with a precision rifle and pop some legs and arms from about 500 yards away as they open your unlocked door. Be like prairie dog hunting. It may be interesting to climb and hunt the animals around the trucks. You can rest assured they know where trucks are parking too. Be better off to put it right between the eyes

This makes me want to start hunting with an AR10 with a 30 rounder hidden in my pack.
I don't always hunt the line, but when I do, I make sure I'm close to my neighbor's 8 acre bean field.

It's gonna get to the point if they are armed and you see them coming, you'll need shoot them on sight and claim self defense. If only one has a gun shoot that one and wait till the other picks it up and shoot that one too...
If only you leave the scene it's you word against the dead guy...

Victim has two sons, look to be 12 to 16 yrs old. So sad and senseless. I do see that some outside law is involved and hopefully they will catch the perps and try them in front of a jury and not plead it for a year of probation.

I would rather encounter anything other than a trespasser on my property. Two people with guns can get turn ugly real fast.

I had class this afternoon with an SBI agent Troy. He said that ABI became SBI when DPS became ALEA. Of course he couldn�t commit on any investigation.

This makes me want to start hunting with an AR10 with a 30 rounder hidden in my pack. I hunt with a Scar17 and a fully loaded 20 round mag of .308. Gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling every time I rack the charging handle.

I got 4 bullets in my rifle. After that it'll be a knife fight or a foot race, I guess.

This makes me want to start hunting with an AR10 with a 30 rounder hidden in my pack. A few simple things that can help. Add find a friend app to your cell phone. Add your wife or a friend. Whatever makes you happy just as long as someone can find you. Have a whistle in your pocket to help someone find you in case you can�t move. Carry extra rifle rounds. Carry a side arm with extra clips. Prayers for the family of this fellow hunter.
