That Jerusalem Church is at the corner of Gates and a dirt road that. Who knows I wished I knew where exactly it was. We heard a gunshot and a truck driving off Sunday morning. Sounded like it came off of our only shared gate/shared road. The locals were all outside that morning.... chad1980,
You may be correct about the location.
BUT, I feel certain it was across Red Creek from there.
All of the LEO vehicles were turning in on Willie Powell Road and none came down Gates Road.
Those bridges are out and the roads no longer connect.

Hearing FBI was called in for tracking dog support The Camden news outlet had �FBI� in their article yesterday. It has been edited to say SBI this morning. It also gives a name of the investigator from the state.

The inmates pretty much rule this area of the county. Untold number of hunters' vehicle have been broken into along roads in west Wilcox. Maybe the state can solve it but I doubt they are that interested in what goes on in those woods. Sad for the victim, no doubt. It all goes back to drugs and what can be stolen to buy more drugs.

News from this area of the woods doesn't leak out to news outlets. Other than a paragraph or two in the local fish wrapper, that's all you will get.

This is the truth. I caught some folks on our place one time and I was glad I had my AR. I would rather not surprise a group of trespassers with a bolt action rifle at any distance.

Those bridges are out and the roads no longer connect. It was Willie Powell Road; not Gates Rd. And, there are a couple of details in article that are not �just tight�....or not reported yet. Bad, Bad, Bad deal!
