McGuires has the best lamb chops anywhere. Don't forget the 18 cent bean soup, don't think I've ever been there w/out getting it. Here now. The bean soup is awesome on this cold day.

Cajun Specialty meats is behind McGuires Very good option here. Although it's no longer named Cajun specialty meats, it is now Broussard's. Its the same owners, just a different name. The owner wanted to expand the restaurant aspect, and a name change helped. They have some exceptional Cajun food and rather than bread to start with, they serve up freshly fried pork rinds, some of the best I have ever had. The duck gumbo is simply awesome.
