Spending the night down there and looking for a restaurant suggestion. No seafood and $15-25 or so.
Thanks.

Sig Sauer, to hell and back reliable.
Whatever suits you just tickles me plum to death.
Can I refill your eggnog for you? Get you something to eat? Drive you out to the middle of nowhere and leave you for dead?

I really do enjoy there food. I try and eat there every time I’m there. I just wish there was a little more light in there.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
My phone screen does not always work right, usually a lot of misspelled words....

McGuires is a good choice, but there are also tons of good places to eat on Palafox street and a pretty fun atmosphere in general, although the cold will keep folks away I'm sure. Can't go wrong with following TripAdvisor's rankings.
Hub Stacey's is good for just a great sandwich and a couple of beers.
If you wanted to ride across the bridge and go to the beach, The Grand Marlin is one of my favorites and there's plenty on the menu that's not seafood.

Fish house for seafood or as mentioned McGuire’s for everything else.

I've eaten at all of them. Can't go wrong with McGuires. Try their steaks, rueben egg rolls, or corn beef and cabbage. Union public house has great food. Iron is good if you want to spend the extra for fine dining. Fish House used to be our favorite, but has gone down hill. Grand Marlin is my wife's favorite. Try their pork shank, crab cakes, or love rubbed salmon. For lunch, try the Dog House Deli on Palafox Street. (friend of mine owns it) Great hotdogs, hamburgers, onion rings, and po-boys. The owner smokes slabs of bacon on a green egg and grinds it with his hamburger meat. Can't beat it.

Van in ??? Cajun Specialty meats has a cafe that's awesome. Not all cajun foods are seafood. they have poultry and beef, pork too. I love their deboned chickens with different stuffings. click here

McGuires has the best lamb chops anywhere. Don't forget the 18 cent bean soup, don't think I've ever been there w/out getting it.
