I walk a cutover between 11-3:30 and get a vantage point looking into the wind to a Southern hillside ....... Make myself visable for about 10 minutes and then CLAP REAL LOUD ABOUT 6 TIMES and WAIT another 5 mins CLAP again and if nothing gets up move to another simiilar spot...... They will let you walk right by them as they are bedded in the sun protected from the wind. Sometimes they get nervous and just stand up. Sometimes they just bolt. This is how I killed my last 3 bucks on days just like today in the TNF. 2 eights and a 6 in velvet.
