I take all the parts out and hit them with the pressure washer, wipe inside with paper towels, put it back together and run it on higest setting for a couple hours. Works great and doesn't take much time. Don't let it just sit too long after a cook, especially in warm weather. You'll get flies in it and that is a real mess.
