Actually some of my bestest fondest memories was in walker County in the late 80s. I worked up there a lot and I was still single. The first stripper I ever met was in Dora, the Red Barn. My first bar room fight was in the Horseshoe club in Jasper. The first jealous husband who tried to kill me was in Carbon Hill.
Good times, good times!

I grew up right in the middle of beat 10 It’s kinda like Next Of Kin And mostly like "Deliverance". Have you ever been there or do you know anyone that lives there? Strong family ties in the whole area but no toothless, banjo playin, goofy lookin (well maybe some goofy lookin) folks in there. Go to Jasper Wal-Mart tomorrow around 5:00pm and report back to us. Beat 10 aint nowhere near jasper but you are right about the scenery at Walmart

Now OB if you ever went to Beat 10 to do some drinking youd be going back there still today. The best moonshine in this country came from there and some still does

I have to agree with Josh. I'm pretty sure it was carbon Hill liquor that got me in trouble with the jealous husband.
I hate making a good first impression. There’s no way I can keep that shit up.

I was seeing you there regularly for a while so yes, there are some goofy looking people there to be seen.

I've collected a menagerie of animals, cleared and planted an orchard, semi-cleared a food plot, and I have at least 3 other major projects looming, all in preparation for retiring to "the easy life"! *L* You're not preparing for the easy life, you're setting up a second career! I done told you, when you retire, get rid of anything that eats. I'd love to unload the horse...everything else other than the dogs can be eaten!

I know you know where I'm talking about. Contacted Phil Miller and was told it's either all in for having him arrested or not doing anything at all. In the end it's not my call but I would have the dude arrested. He was told after all.

I pretty sure it's because he was constantly asking and being denied.
