seems like that lawyer owned land mid county central to east side? Not 100% sure.

Go home and tell yer wife you just got hammered to the tune of $10,000 for a hunting violation. LOL

I know a lawyer buddy who hunts who said he would take a case on it if ever offered it.
He tried to get a person to let him sue a guy for damages who was caught and Id'd on camera by tag # doing doughnuts in a green field but the guy wouldnt go thru with it.

A lot of good answers, but the first thing that popped into my mind from reading the OP was, why did the owner have to tell the man "sternly" not to hunt it, if the man asked for permission? Wouldn't a polite no work? The man was doing right at least at some point.

I know this land owner Chuck is talking about and he's completely against any hunting on his property and if he says no he aint kidding and he'll say no in a way you wont forget that he said it

landowner prolly knew the guy and knew he would poach, seems if so he was right. I know folks I would be polite with and others that I would tell to stay the hell off my land.

No need to be an ass about it if someone shows you the courtesy of asking, unless he already knew he was planning on poaching. This is why a lot of hunters, especially young ones are afraid to ask. It is easier to just risk it than to get an undeserved ass chewing for asking.

Between my parents and my own property in 40 years I believe I can count on 2 hands the number of people who have asked for permission to hunt our properties. During the same time I can't count on both hands AND feet the number we have caught hunting without permission. Never has been one who had asked previously.

Can I have permission to hunt yours and your parents land? And any other land you have power to grant permission to hunt on? grin
