Yeah that is what I understand....I have camp in a small hunter camp where the owner and her son reside full time. He claims they have never had a problem. I do however know better than to leave my truck insight of the road on any of those properties. I just leave my truck unlocked with nothing of value in it. Are you north or south of me there?
From the 15th on it will just get better. The best 4 days last year for us (20 miles from you) were the 26th thru the 29th.
The guys on here are correct about the native population down there. Rough area. Lots of porch sitters that would rather steal than work. Heck I think a bunch of them steal just for fun and recreation. Lots of guys just leave their camps unlocked and take everything of value with them when they come and go. Otherwise, you're constantly replacing windows and door frames instead of spending your time hunting.
