Someone show us a copy of a ticket for not having a pen. If you don't have it, get the info to Doekiller so he can pull up the case on Alacourt or whatever program they use. PM sent Is there more to this or just old friends catching up? No, a friend of his brother in law claims he got one hunting around here. Still no first person evidence. The GW supervisor for this area says it was for no Harvest Record.

Its not illegal to turn around before you get there as long as you dont make an illegal u turn or break a traffic law while doing it like most people do then they have a reason to pull you over. ask me how i know ive done it several times at road block. Its none of their business why i turned around maybe i past my turn

I have had this discussion with a BIL who knows someone who is adamant he received a ticket several years ago for no pencil. I don't like putting names out so I gave it to him instead of posting the guys name since I don't know him personally.

I don't always hunt the line, but when I do, I make sure I'm close to my neighbor's 8 acre bean field.

There is case law specifically on point that says making a legal turn or legal u-turn before a road block is not probable cause.

they ran me down one time after i turned around at one, and another time when i was going through one, someone behind me turned around and they ran him down too.

and when the popo gets to court ask him what his probable cause was for the stop. An LEO must have some probable cause to make a traffic stop. Turning around isn't a legal probable cause.

If you turn in any illegal fashion, they can go stop you.
