A few years ago I got pulled over for hauling my 4wheeler at 4:00 am.
No traffic violation, no law broken. The officer actually said that he stopped me because there's been a number of ATVs stolen. He asked if I owned the 4wheeler and I said yes. Although I was hoping he didn't ask me to prove it cause I had no papers with me. He just said okay, and have a nice day.
I was polite, even though I was pissed, and he was polite, so I didn't make a fuss. I’m sure all atv atv theives in the world would have said no, I just stole this. That seems like a pointless stop.
