I still want to know A) is he even allowed to own a firearm? and B) why was he hunting on a WMA with a firearm when it wasn't a firearm day? As to A, we know he can't if he was convicted, not just arrested, on the DV charge. The question is, if I see where he was convicted, should I send this to an ATF agent friend, or cut him a break and hope he learns his lesson? ALDEER NEEDS ANSWERS!

Any violent DV conviction, and there are some they don't consider violent, makes you a person forbidden from carrying a firearm. They can still bowhunt and muzzle loader hunt, but no firearm. Perhaps that is why it suddenly went from a rifle hunt to a bow hunt? The main question right now would be, what was he convicted of, not arrested for, but convicted of?

I’m afraid we’ll never know the real story. I’ll be surprised if JT shows back up after he got busted again. Great thing about JT is he always comes back. He may be done with this thread but I would be shocked if he doesn't drag a monster buck out of the woods soon and bring it to ALDEER to rub in all our faces. That guy just gets it done! Ill try to ride by the check station tomorrow and see if his name is in the book Seems like a lot of trouble to go through just to discount somebody's story.. I honestly don't give 2 chits if he legally killed it or not but as much time as some have spent bashing and trying to prove JT89 wrong, I sure hope those same guys would put that effort in to help somebody. When you kill big deer, ppl get jealous. I’ve learned that years ago. I’m blessed to have killed numerous deer over 120-130” . In a pen of course. Duh.
