Gobbler-Gettr Member G Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 65 Hoover	Does anyone know of a good catfish pond in the shelby/jefferson county area? Like one of those where you pay and are pretty much guaranteed to catch some! I'm a volunteer and got a kid that loves to fish. I took him bass fishing, but he's not quite that far along yet, so I want to take him somewhere where he can at least catch some fish! Thanks for any suggestions

If you post this in the General forum it might get a little more response and a quicker one as well. Hope you find a place to take the kid. You are a good person for doing this! USA	It's not in your immediate area but a buddy has one in Ohatchee just north of Anniston and south of Gadsden. He charges $2 to fish and $1.25 per pound and you are going to catch fish.
