Those were probably mostly Dem crossover voters trying to intentionally give us the worst candidate. But yes any Republican who voted for Moore in the primaries over more viable candidates deserves the blame.

But...but...he stood up for the 10 Commandments. It would be unchristian NOT to vote for him. (Insert sarcasm). You damn straight they are to blame. Along with Kay Ivey for not suspending the election. Probably because she needs Moore's supporters in her re-election bid. Don't forget this, or how she bancrupted PACT, when that race comes around. Moore has some responsibility too, for acting like a crazy old man. The idiot rode to the polls on a horse again today. Like he didn't get enough bad publicity the first time around. Whoever he is taking campaign advice from is NOT his friend or a complete moron.

You nailed it. Just like the people who threw away their money to people like Jim Bakker and Jimmy Swaggert, some people blindly follow any false prophet who uses them to further their own personal ambitions.

Forget about the allegations- I think a lot of republicans (not necessarily die hard conservatives) were turned off by Moore due to the fact he was removed from office twice!! As a Republican you are supposed to be the party of law and order..... and what did we do- trotted out a candidate that obviously didnt believe in boundaries or the rule of law because if he did he would have never been removed. Moore did believe in being a political stuntman and an attention seeker and that turns people off. To suggest its just the allegations is glossing over a litany of other issues. Obviously Just my opinion.

We spend too much energy on vote for an R and not a D. Moore is simply an asshat. Jones a liberal. Not much to choose from so why waste a vote on these two?

Don't give me that chit. Of course I am loyal enough to vote for the R candidate but it made me cringe to vote for Moore. The guy is a self aggrandizing asshat and he makes the state look horrible. As Ford said above he preys on christians to get votes. I hope we never have to see the guy again.

Agree 100% in the fact that it should have never come to this.
This is what happens when you pick a unlikable, controversial, dirtbag as your candidate

Was there not a primary? Oh wait there was. My dog didn't win so I'm not going to vote. Classic. This election was bought and a trial run for a strategy that we will see in many to come.

1st. I voted for Roy yesterday... I think we should all face the fact that the main reason he lost is that is is a MORONIC asshat, if you were someone sitting on the fence in this election and trying to decide who to vote for, and you hear Moore talking about how we should have stopped at 10 amendments in the Constitution, or how back in the "slavery days things were not that bad, at least family's were together"....

I have never in my 45 years seen a campaign run as bad as Roy's was run, not one person could talk to the press without stepping on their crank...

Because if people like you stay home the liberal wins, as we all seen last night. The question you have to ask is do I want an asshat that would vote the way I would 99% of the time or a liberal that that would vote against me 99% of the time. The choice should have been easy.

Hell NO!! I have faith that the people of Alabama will wake up after this election and field a QUALITY candidate, but, if not I don't have as much of a problem with a D-governor as I do a senator!!! Unless a senator vacates their seat, the governor doesn't have squat to do with national decisions like, maybe, seating a Supreme Court Justice!!!! The voters didn't look at the big picture in this election.

I would like for everyone to think WHY Moore was removed twice from office... I bet you can't show me where he did anything worthy of being removed other than what a higher judge declared. So, does that mean the higher judge was correct ? I to believe he could have used different tactics BUT I believe he is a Christian man trying to do what the forefathers of this country established and that to use the BIBLE and GOD'S leadership to govern the laws of the land. The Bible, GOD and the Ten Commandments have been in the courtrooms and laws of this nation long before Roy Moore That being said, he lost, let's move on and find somebody to replace Jones come November.

I am one of the asswipes that stayed home. Moore is a joke and couldn't vote for the guy. So he will hopefully ride off into the sunset on his stupid horse and never get involved in politics again....and we all know that ain't gonna happen...ugh. Oh.....I am also a proud deplorable
