y'all need to get over this convictions thing and politics. Its laughable. You will never identify with any political candidate if you work for a living, have a budget, pay taxes and try to raise a family. That immediately puts you at direct odds with all of them.
Instead, see them for the pieces of shucks they are and view them as cogs on a sprocket, driving us left or right. Who or what they stick their chock into and what things the media tells us doesn't matter. Cogs on a sprocket.
In fact, I'll go a step further and say the reason we have such pitiful candidates is cause everyone wants someone that they would like to have a beer with. You demanding that kind of personal PR and marketing out of a candidate self-selects for horrible candidates.
