These dogs are bred for protecting livestock. Buddy has a couple and at 8 weeks old was running off the coons trying to get his chickens and coyotes at 6 months. Hasn't lost a bird to either since he got them. They sleep during the day and are on guard at night.

Great Pyrenees is a great breed of dog. Dad had one at the lake. He'd sit on top of the hill and watch the kids. If a kid tried to wonder off, he'd heard them back. If anyone or anything came near the kids, he'd bow up and run it off.

If someone in North Alabama wants this dude I can bring him to you.
Wish I was in a position to have a dog right now, he would be mine if so.

I don't think that these are take to the city park dogs. They are very protective of their herd/family from what I have read about them.

Great dog breed. Will protect anything it's around. Will run off anything on 4 ft or two.

I'd love to have him. Does he do well around little ones? Got a 2 year old that's a pistol, and another on the way. Is he potty trained?

Don't know much about him.
He's very mild mannered and friendly.
My opinion is he would be fine with kids.
He was perfectly calm at the Small Animal Clinic yesterday while they did the work on him.
I have one more person interested, not counting the one 7-08 has found.
Hopefully find him a home today. If I lived in the country, I'd keep him.

Damn fine dog Gotcha1. Almost worth the drive out from Colorado. 44 hours total just don't work for me, but someone will take it off your hands for sure.

Well, Jimmy, seems Patrick wants the dog, but he got a part lab yesterday. He knows that he screwed up, but you know Patrick.
ALL- The dog is ready for a home. I'm just waiting for instructions.
He's here in Auburn, waiting for his move.
