I've eaten several. I've barbequed them and also made a hash of them. The meat is really dark. I would say it's edible, but I'm gonna have to be pretty hungry to eat another one. I used to sell the meat from all the coons and possums I trapped back in the 70s. They were easy to sell.
I always thought the meat off a bobcat looked good; it appeared to be a much whiter meat than a coon. Never had the nerve to try it.
All the labor of man is for his mouth, and yet the appetite is not filled.
