Anyone know of anything hiring, Would like to get into hvac but hard when you do not have school training or time to go to school.

Currently I am doing Lawn care which is not bad but I would like to get in to another trade previously I worked on cars. I am willing to do anything if the pay is right. Benefits and such do not matter to me much solid hours with decent pay.

I have been applying to jobs over indeed with little success at this point.

But any insight would help.

Why not go to school at night?

Lots of loans and grants out there if you do the leg work.

If you're wanting to get into the HVAC field with no experience, like other fields, you'll have to hire in at the bottom of the totem pole as an installers helper. It could take a year or so to become a lead installer and years longer to be an entry level tech. I'd recommend getting into a company at what ever job they offer you and go to an HVAC program at night or what ever schedule you could work out. Once you finish up school and have a Yr or two of install experience, you could likely get a job as an entry level tech doing routine maintenance, smaller jobs and helping with bigger jobs.

You're just down the rd from one of the best HVAC programs at Gadsden st.

Good luck. I wish I had some contacts in Bham for you. If you were close to Huntsville I could help out.

I worked for the red headed step child of the company Tire Engineers - After express bought them. It was not a great place to work and the manager had full rights to screw you owner as well as play favorites.

Loans and school is not the problem but a full time job and 8 month old is.
