dang, that's a helluva a turn around to have broke yesterday.. good luck this weekend guys ill be after them for the next 4 days

went this morning and saw 2 does about 8 AM then another doe and a button buck about 9 AM.
We had seen so few deer to date I held off popping one of the does.

Just have to buy a little extra stuff to get moved ahead in the line. Also they had everything in stock.

Well I took off this week to hunt. And how that plan went every way but hunting. I only hunted one afternoon and one morning. I will get to go this afternoon so maybe that will be the saving grace. I have seen deer every time but nothing with horns. That�s weird for here. I�ve seen 20 deer and two hunts and usually one has horns in that many.

Went this afternoon. Ran deer out of field and as soon as I got up three more come out. When the left a spike cam out and fed and then another doe. The spike ended up grunting and chasing the doe off to have the green field to his self I reckon. Had deer in field entire afternoon.

Boys I been sick and under the weather for what feels like too long. I should be back at chasing this weekend.

I pulled the trigger and bought a new deer rifle, I'm hoping to have it delivered by Friday but we'll see.

Wife had a sale at there store this week so had to help a little with that and the kids.last time hunting was last Sunday evening but Hunted this evening for first time and didn�t see anything in the stand but saw one walking out run in front of my light. Probably not going to Morris with he south east wind but will probably hunt Wednesday and Thursday afternoon for sure. May take off.

Too much going on the last week. Unable to hunt but plan to go in the morning after bus run (8:30 AM EST) till about noon thirty EST and get ready for afternoon bus run.

May try and go back Thursday morning but definitely Saturday. May pull an all day sit.

Been a long week for me. Finally back after em.

Went this past Sunday afternoon for the first time in two weeks. Life has really been busy with eye surgery for wife, sinus infection for wife, grandkids started basketball, and on top of that, work.

Saw one spike work a couple scrapes and that was it. My buddy hunted 2 1/2 days and saw maybe 6 deer but no shooters.

We are having trouble understanding where all the deer have gone. Lat year, we were just covered up. This year, they are non existent.

hunted all day yesterday. saw a bunch.. saw 16 does and yearlings in the morning sit and went to change spots for afternoon and saw 4 in a patch i drove past.. sat the afternoon to only see one doe..

Going in am. Buddy saw a really good buck Monday morning. If he walks the same trail I hope to get a shot at him. I only hunting this one deer in this spot. Hopefully that west wind has a little more behind it than 3 mph like they forecasting.

Got to slip out this morning. Was about 5 minutes from shooting. With the cloud cover, there was not enough light to get a good read on a buck that crossed about 35 yards that I am sure was shootable. . Just not enough light to shoot.

Looks like me and you are the only posters on our team. It sure would be a lot more interesting if everyone participated.

Went Saturday and saw nothing. Been hunting here for 6 years and this is the slowest I have seen it. Can't figure what's going on.

Went yesterday evening after church dinner and seen 6. 4 does and 2 yearlings. Had them about 25 yards and enjoyed watching them til dark.

Haven't seen much this year but the good times are coming.

Sorry guys, I'm not much of a team mate this year. I've been in the woods plenty, just chasing my dog though..

That�s probably a lot of fun. I�ve dog hunted dang near everything except squirrels.

Never dog hunted but think it would really be fun.

Anyway, went Monday afternoon and all day yesterday. Saw one 6 point Monday afternoon being chased by a coyote. Unable to lock onto the coyote for a shot. Sitting all day yesterday and seeing nothing is getting old in a hurry. New scrapes and beginning to show up daily. Our deer are usually chasing now until early January but we aren't seeing any of that or any deer. Tracks and sign everywhere but maybe they have gone nocturnal on us.

Went this morning and was in a tree about 15 minutes and heard something behind me. Turned and looked and saw two coyotes running across the trail I just walked in on.
Stayed to 1:00 pm and did not see anything.
Walked back to 4 wheeler and drive out to road. 50 feet from road a huge German Shepherd with a collar was standing looking at me and I at him.
Made me wander if maybe what I saw earlier was in fact 2 coyotes and not 2 German Shepherd's or one chasing a coyote.

Went Friday morning and finally saw a deer. Actually saw 3. Two does and a unicorn spike.our deer should start chasing any day now so I held off to see if anything was behind then. Also saw about a dozen turkeys.
Woods were alive with activity from the other creatures and kept me on my toes for about 6 hours.
That does it for me until Tuesday morning.
