I remember several things at 4 yo. Mainly painful things like running through a closed glass sliding door. Falling out of a tree and knocking the breath out. Being thrown in the pool until I learned to swim. Being scared to be sent on an airplane by myself to visit my grandparents in San Antonio. The beating I got after calling a black lady at my dads work the �N� word. (My parents didn�t use that word, but my grandfathers did)
