My team Central of Phenix City hosts McGill Toolen of Mobile Friday night game starting at 8:00 EST
The other semifinal game, Thompson vs Hoover. Should be a good one.
Even though Central is rate # 1 in the state, Thompson has been rated # 1 in several National Polls.
We will see this week

Thompson lives and dies by their QB. When he is on you can forget it. The kid is a junior and already has offers from seven division one schools. Despite what the nay sayers say about his size.

IMO Thompson is a year ahead of schedule contending for the state championship. This is because of QB play. If they win out this year then look for a repeat next year, and maybe the next also.

I have been watching Central Football since I was old enough to walk and this years team is probably the best all around team i have ever seen.
They block and tackle well and are averaging over 45 points a game. Special teams have pulled their weight to date and haven't given up very much.
Home field advantage this week and i just hope they are not looking ahead to in two weeks to the Thompson/Hoover winner because McGill-Toolen seems to have our number in football and basketball.

I think Hoover wins the rematch tonight.... I hope you are wrong. Thompson played a little tight the first game. Maybe a little intimidated mighty Hoover. Should be a good one either way.
