If I was locked out of the place, I would cut the lock too.
And leave the gate open so someone would know I'm in there.
From reading the OP the guy has no permission or authority to cross the property or am I reading it wrong? Either way it�s not a good situation when someone cuts the lock to your lease without explanation. other than assuming he�s going to his property nobody really knows what he did or where he went
