I�ve saw 13 animals in 2 hunts. One pig. 9 does and fawns and 2 spikes. Where them bucks at I have no idea.

We all need to shot a doe for the team bonus. With rifle season opening Sunday and we are forecasted a raining very windy day, may try and go Sunday afternoon.
If weather breaks may go Saturday. Hate to not go opening day.

Sorry. Doubt I shoot any does. I won�t on my regular club. Just not many of them. Now I will if I make it to the management land or a buddyys place. Maybe I will get the itch.

I plan to be after them this weekend. Shooting houses aren't my thing but I'm gonna sit one during the rain and see what happens... Ill bust a nanny if she wonders through

My buddy hunted this morning and saw nothing except smoke. About 1/4 of our lease was clear cut last year and are now burning the underbrush and large wood piles. He was in the back section and didnt know they were burning. He smelt it early but saw it driving out later.
A phone call would have been nice. He drives 2 hours and a half to hunt.

I love hunting right after a burn. Also mark the trails with flagging since they will be easy to spot. They will still use them after underbrush starts to grow back

Burners said they would be back in the morning so that has got us buggered up for another day or two. Hopefully Saturday they will be gone till they plant the pines.

Better make up your points with shooting 10+ point buck

What about three 8 points?

Points are determined by your largest buck(one buck per member) from each team member along with a doe. Does are 5 points but again just one per member, and a buck is 5 points plus the number of points. You shoot an 8 point you get 13 points.
If you shoot 3 8 pointers, they are just 13 points. You can shoot up and kill a 10 pointer and then you get 15 points, not 13 and 15 points.
If all members shot a doe, they get a bonus. I am thinking it is 5 points extra one time.

Last year the team I was on came in 5 overall and would have been 3rd but the 10 point I killed was 15 points was not allowed because I did not post the proper picture with the proper information.
My camera malfunctioned when I was taking pictures after I shot him and had no backup. Forgot to get the processor to take one either. I submitted a skull cap and horns the next day that were not allowed.

Went Saturday and saw nothing. Very few squirrels were moving. Very smoky from the burn last week not sure if this mattered.

Off next week so hitting it hard Monday Tuesday and Wednesday.

Saw 9. 3 does and two spots. Then as I was letting my bow down four blowed over my shoulder. All I could see was tails running off

Didn't see a thing in north Perry county Saturday and only heard one shot all day

went yesterday morning and again this morning and I have yet to see a deer. But did see one about a mile form lease crossing the road this morning.
Hunting same places this year as last year where I/We saw tons and otns every time we went. I do not understand.

This year woods are still green as all get out and our acorn crop this year was virtually non existent.

Went again this afternoon and had a doe come running thru where I was hunting as if her tail was on fire. Thought maybe she was being chased by something(dog,coyote,another deer) but nothing surfaced behind her.
Then about dark one blew at least 10 times at me.
Wait till tomorrow Mr/Mrs deer!!!

Blew my bow up. Not good. Hopping to get it fixed within a few days.

I seen that.. man that sucks! hopefully youll get it back soon

Back in action fellas. Shot it at 5 tonight at bow shop at 15 yards so hoping other pins are gonna be close like in past.
